Membership is eligible to all the enterprises, institutions, branches and social groups that registered in accordance with the law of the People's Republic of China and willing to fulfill members rights and obligations based on the charters of Shenzhen Foreign Economic Trade Development and Investment Promotion Association. Membership can be divided into several parts: member unit, governing unit, executive director unit, vice-chairman unit, executive vice-chairman unit and chairman unit. Shenzhen Foreign Economic Trade Development and Investment Promotion Association is not only an open communication platform but an effective channel for understanding national policies, collecting valid informations, expanding quality resouces as well as increasing enterprises popularities.

Enrollment Process

Ⅰ. Data Submitting:

1. Fill in the Application Form of Member Registration, and stamped with official seal.

2. Copies of the business license or registration certificate and stamped with official seal.

3. Brief introduction of your comapany and two copies of publicity materials

Ⅱ. Membership Approval:

1. The approving results will be informed to the applicant within 7 work days from the date of the member department submits the application form and other required materials to the Secretary-General.

2. After the application is approved, the member department will inform the result to the applicant and deliver the New membership notice, and then applicant can transfer the membership dues to the account of the Association.

3. After remittance, the applicant will receive the dues receipt within 7 work days and the member information will be published on offical website.

4. The membership signs will be unified produced.

5. All of the members that has transfered annual dues to the account of Association are not only entitle to enjoy the rights of membership but the various services provided by the Association.

Membership Management

1. The secretariat will set up an archives room for membership management.

2. Each member enterprise should designate a liaison for keeping daily contact and information exchanges with the Association.

3. The member enterprises that either are publicly exposed for violating the natioal laws and regulations or fail to pay the membership dues for more than one year will be cancelled the membership automatically.

4. All the membership cards and signs will be withdrawn, once the exit application is approved.

Membership Service

1. The member enterprises are given the priority to enjoy preferential treatment and participate all activities of the Association, including various vocational trainnings as well as staff trainnings.

2. Promote  member enterprises better development, through positively organize and train member enterprises to know about the natioanl economic and trade development policy as well as the financial support areas of government.

3. Participate in the projects like research and investigation, industiral statistics, and investment promotion that entrusted by government.

4. Send national supporting policies, marketing informations as well as development trend of both domestic and foreign markets to member enterprises in a timely manner, and provide information consulting services.

5. Positively organize and train enterprises to know about the laws, regulations, culture, and religions of foreign countries.

6. Establish close contact and cooperation with governments and business associations both at home and abroad, and jointly organize various economic, trade, investment, business forums as well as activities for promoting member enterprises develop international markets.

7. Organize member enterprises to participate in overseas exhibitions and economic negotiations and exchange promotion activities including various new products, technologies, materials, formats and business modes.

8. Promote horizontal cooperations among member enterprises, dig out internal potentials to form a complementary cooperation alliances and organize enterprises to develop with collaborations.

9. Strengthen daily communication, make surveies on members requirements regularly, improve service quality continuously and make full use of the link among governments, enterprises and industries.

Membership Dues

Member Unit: 3000 RMB per year

Governing Unit: 10000 RMB per year

Executive Director Unit: 20000 RMB per year

Vice-Chairman unit: 50000 RMB per year

Executive Vice-Chairman Unit: 80000 RMB per year

Chairman Unit: 100000 RMB per year

Note: The time of paying membership dues: the annual payment notice will be delivered in the first quarter of each year, member enterprises should transfer membership dues to the Association account within 10 days after receiving the notice, and then a receipt will be in return.

Functions of Member Service Department

As a permanent department created to perform the work of the secretariat, member services department is not only an important window for external contact but the vital link and bridge between members and the Association. Its main functions are as follows:

1. Draw up departrment developing plannings and annual work programmes for better coordiante the relationship among members and serving for members.

2. Strengthen investigation and study, pay attention to the hot points and difficulty points of member enterprises, through finding problems, solving problems and suming up experiences to promote advanced experience and management methods among member enterprises in a timely manner.

3. Organize various aboundant service activities, improve trainning consulation and information exchanges, develop new service fields and enlarge the scope of service.

4. Positively work with other departments to make preparation for investment attractings and overseas exhibitions, organize exchange and cooperation activities with both doemstic and abroad organizations and enterprises.

5. Strengthen members legal consciousness, guide members to learn laws, abide laws and make use of laws to protect their own legal interests for promoting member groups healthy growth.

6. Strengthen daily contact with members, absorb and relflect members suggestions, continuously improve members work and service quality, and positivley take in new members.
