The Secretary-General paid offical visit to the Consulate General of Cambodia.

The Secretary-General of Shenzhen Foreign Economic Trade and Investment Development Promotion Association visited the Consulate of Cambodia, on the afternoon of March 8.

Heng Poeu, the consul general of the Consulate of Cambodia, who told us that Cambodia is a country with the peaceful and stable domestic environment, rapid economic development, people live and work in peace as well as the continuously improving investment environment, therefore, it has been regardingas the ideal investment destination for all foreign enterprises. Meanwhile, Heng Poeu also warmly introdued the social customs and habits, national development strategy, investment environment, advantageous industries, foreign investment policy and the key industries of Cambodia to us.

Jiang HongYue, the Secretary-General of our Association, who has introduced the current situation and the future development plan of our Association, as well as the members enterprises demands of making trade and investment with Cambodia to Heng Poeu. The “ One Belt, One Road” strategy of China and the “Four Courner Strategy” of Cambodia are highly complementary. China ana Combodia have broad prospects for cooperation in the industries like the ecological agriculture and agricultural products deep processing, water conservancy and hydropower, municipal infrastructure construction, housing construction, industrial park construction and operation, environmental protection and new energy industry as well as information technology and innovation.

Heng Poeu has given fully supports to the works of our Association, and expressed that it will be greatly appreciated that if we can organize enterprises to make business investigation and investment in Cambodia. In order to strengthen the bilateral cooperation and better promote sound and rapid development of the trade and investment between Shenzhen and Cambodia, the Consulate General of Cambodia is willing to provide assistance for the investigation.

Through this visit, we have not only a deeper understanding of Cambodia's latest development strategy and the key areas of investment as well as the releated supporting policies toward foreign enterprises that interested in making investment in Cambodia, but established friendly relations and reached a series of cooperation intention with each other.
