The Secretary-General paid offical visit to the French and German consulates
In order to further strengthen the friendly cooperation relationship between our Association and other developed countries of Europe, the Secretary-general, Jiang HongYue paid offical visit to the French and German consulates repectively on March 10 and 15.
Ⅰ. The Secretary-General Jiang HongYue discussed the cooperation between France and Shenzhen with French Consulate.
On the morning of March 10, the Secretary-general Jiang HongYue of Shenzhen Foreign Economic Trade and Investment Development Promotion Association has visited the French Consulate General in Guangzhou and had a friendly talk with the Director of the French Trade Commission-Business France Bertrand Quevremont and the economic counselor Pierre Martin.
Mr. Jiang has not only introduced the development situation of our member enterprises in the fields like financial investment, import and export, logistics and supply chain, high-tech industry, traditional competitive industries, strategic emerging industries, environmental protection and new energy, Internet and e-commerce, but recommended the favorable investment and living environment of Shenzhen municipal. Shenzhen Foreign Economic Trade and Investment Development Promotion Association is quite willing to provide assistance for French enterprises making investment and business investigation in Shenzhen and would like to promote the cooperation between the two sides in the fields of electronic information, fashion industry, modern agriculture, food, finance, tourism and culture, especially between the small and medium-sized enterprises in the two countries.
Both the Director Bertrand Quevremont and the economic counselor Pierre Martin of French Consulate have introduced the domestic economic situation and investment environment of France, the investment and business opportunities of Chinese enterprises in France as well as the operating situation of French enterprises in China. They have mentioned that France is a country with leading technology of aerospace, clean energy, nuclear power, high-speed railway, biomedicine, environmental protection, high-end manufacturing, and French Consulate is willing to enhance the cooperation with Shenzhen enterprises on the above industries. In order to attract foreign investments, the French government had put forward a series of reform initiatives on the improvement of French investment t and economic environment, which has made a great achievement. They also showed that looking forward to strengthen various cooperation between French enterprises and Shenzhen enterprises and willling to provide assistance for our Association to organize member enterprises to make business investigation in France.
Ⅱ. The Secretary-General Jiang HongYue discussed the cooperation between Germany and Shenzhen with Consulate General of the Federal Reoublic of Germany.
Germany, is a federal parliamentary republic in Central Europe, which enjoys incredible geographical advantages that north along Denmark, west meet Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg and France, south neighboured by Switzerland and Austria as well as east connected with Czech and Poland. As one of the largest economies in Europe and one of the founding members of the European Union, Germany is also playing an important part of several international organizations such as NATO, the Schengen Convention, the G8 and the United Nations.
China is the most important economic partner in Asia for Germany, which in turns Germany is the most vital trading partner in Europe for China. Germany has been regarding as the gateway to Europe by China, no matter in economical or political points of view. The importance of bilateral relationship has been highlighted by active mutual trade and investment, in-depth environmental, cultural and scientific policy cooperation and frequent high-level visits between the two countries.
With the purpose of strengthening our member enterprises understanding of Germany, and promoting the trade and economic cooperation between Shenzhen enterprises and Germany, the Secretary-General Jiang Hongyue has visited German consulate on the morning of March 15. A broad consensus has been formed, after the friendly talk among Mr. Jiang, the consul general Helmut Luders and the consul Nina Melanie Richter.
Ⅲ. Through such kind of visiting activities above, we have enhanced a better in-depth understanding of the trade and investment environment as well as socio-economic development status in France and Germany.
The two sides shared the view that there are high-level complementarities and broad prospects among the proposes of the Chinese government, like“One Belt, One Road”, “Global Cooperation on Production Capacity”as well as “Made in China 2025”, the “Investment Plan for Europe”of European Commission and European Investment Bank, the “Creative France”strategy of France and the “2020 High-tech Strategy for German” （Industrie 4.0）of Germany. The inter-exchange and economic growth among Sino-French, Sino-German and even Sino-EU will be promoted in a large sense after successful cooperation. In addition, the two sides can also base on each other to jointly develop third-party markets. Both French Consulate and German Consulate are willing to conduct in-depth communication and discussion with our Association to establish a normalized liaison mechanism for strengthening the exchange of information and cooperation projects recommendation among our Association, and the government, commercial organizations as well as enterprises of France and Germany.
