【News】Investment Opportunity Towards Thailand 4.0 Seminar held successfully in HK
On April 28th, the Investment Opportunity Towards Thailand 4.0 Seminar convened successfully in the Island Shangri-La Hotel of Hong Kong. The hosts were the Prime Minister's Office of Thailand, Thailand Board of Investment, Thailand Ministry of Industry, Thailand Ministry of digital economy and society, the East Asia Division of Thailand Ministry of foreign affairs, Hong Kong Trade Development Council and Bank of China (Hong Kong).
Shenzhen Foreign Economic Trade and Investment Development Promotion Association (SFETIDPA) was invited to organize its members to attend the event. The guests presented were Mr. Xiao Dejun, Chairman of the board of Shenzhen Baohengtong (Group) Co., Ltd. that is also SFETIDPA’s vice-chairman unit; Mr. Jiang Hongyue, chairman of the board of Shenzhen Jubilee Investment Holding Co., Ltd. that is also SFETIDPA’s vice-chairman and secretariat unit；Mr. Lu Leqiao, partner of P.W.WOO & ZHONGLUN W.D.LLP that is also SFETIDPA’s vice-chairman unit; Mr.Zhao Hongwei from First Leadership Management & Consultancy Co., Ltd. that is SFETIDPA’s governing unit; Mrs. Li Jinyuan, marketing director of SHENZHEN TALENT&SEA-EVER LOGISTICS LTD. that is also SFETIDPA’s cooperative unit; and SFETIDPA’s Secretariat.
Mr. Suvit Maesincee, Minister of Affairs in the Prime Minister's Office of Thailand, Mr. Uttama Savanayana, Minister of Industry of Thailand, Mr. Pichet Durongkaveroj, Minister of Digital Economy and Society of Thailand, and Mr. Chokedee Kaewsang, Deputy Secretary-general of Thailand Board of Investment introduced the transformation and investment opportunities towards Thailand 4.0, the development strategy of the eastern economic special zone in Thailand, the projects of digital science park and innovation city construction in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) and BOI’s favorable investment policies respectively.
The success of Investment Opportunity Towards Thailand 4.0 Seminar further deepened the Shenzhen and HK companies’ understanding of the investment environment of Thailand. Next, SFETIDPA will organize member companies to have a tour in Thailand for investment investigation in a bid to promote cooperation between Shenzhen and Thailand in the fields of economy & trade, science & technology, finance and industries.
